Donkey & Goat Twinkle Mourvedre 2022 (750 ml)

This vintage is a beautiful rendition of a chillable red, Twinkle made its debut in 2015, after a particularly light bodied Mourvèdre inspired its creation.  2022 is just as nervy and lively as the past six vintages. This wine has become a must-have by the pool and — as many of Tracey’s North Carolina friends like to say — the go-to “porch pounder”.  We always recommend drinking this enticing wine at cellar temp.

Aromatics and flavor profile are juicy, juicy, juicy for another crisp and refreshing vintage of Twinkle. A pretty nose of crushed strawberries and raspberries laced with a sweet and spicy fringe of cola. This is a darker Rosé wine that leads with flavor profiles of an unsweetened Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea), strawberries, watermelon rind, and a touch of underripe cherry. We can’t wait to pair this wine with PIZZA!!! topped with a creamy white sauce, spicy sausage, caramelized onions and mushrooms….or choose your own toppings!
