Èlevage: 11 months. Winemaking: Three sites, harvested and vinified separately. The Edna Valley and Arroyo Grande sites were fermented de-stemmed; the Santa Maria Valley site fermented with 20% whole cluster. The wines were aged as single-vineyard lots for 11 months in neutral 59gal barrique, before coming together in tank one moon before bottling. Notes of forest floor, juniper, bramble, rose and cerise abound. Finishes bright and long, with just a hint of salinity.
