Le Ballon Rouge 2021 (750 ml)

Planted over volcanic and gravel soils, this is a beautiful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Cinsault, offering plenty of intensity but with a delicacy and freshness that is rarely achieved in reds this far south in France. A perfect accompaniment to dishes with the warming spices of North African cuisine or a wild mushroom risotto.

Located in Pays d'Oc, Le Ballon are producing organic grapes at excellent value. The work done in the vineyard, and particularly the work of the soil, give way to fruity and easy-going wines, to drink in their youth.
