Quinta de Covela Avesso Vinho Verde 2020 (750 ml)

Avesso, with its origins in this sub-region of Baião, is the queen of Covela and over the last decade the name of the estate has become synonymous with the variety and vice versa. A notoriously difficult variety to cultivate, in Covela it flourishes. It produces fresh, vibrant wines with citrus and tropical fruit notes that stimulate the palate and have remarkable structure and minerality. A Vinho Verde produced with the minimum of intervention (but with the utmost care!) in our cellar. Pure with excellent guarding potential. Covela practices organic farming and is KIWA-Sativa certified. This wine is vegan.

Tasting Notes: 

Colour brilliant pale straw. Nose intense, vivacious, reveling a host of citrus fruit (lemon, lime, grapefruit) against a backdrop of minerality. Palate dry, fresh with defined structure and a long finish.
