25% Pinot Gris
25% Sauvignon Blanc
25% Vermentino
25% Verdelho

All fruit sourced from organic vineyards in Lodi and San Benito (Verdelho). Each variety is fermented separately with natural yeasts in a mix of stainless steel and neutral barrels before blending. Matured for 5 months in neutral oak and force carbonated at bottling. 12.5% abv.

Skull Wines is a collaboration between longtime friends Patrick Cappiello (Monte Rio Cellars) and Pax Mahle (famed Rhone Ranger). Patrick and Pax's philosophy is to make hand-crafted wines in the spirit of old California. With this idea in mind, they work with family-owned, organically farmed vineyards and keep the winemaking simple. This fun sparkling wine is fermented in a combination of stainless steel and old wood barrels after each grape was fermented separately.
