90% Sangiovese, 5% Souzao, 5% Negroamaro

First produced in 2004, this year’s Arizona NAGA blend is 90% Sangiovese, 5% Souzao, 5% Negroamaro.  This is the fourth vintage of NAGA from our largest Northern AZ site, Eliphante.

Sangiovese with a dash of Aglianico and/or Sagrantino from our Eliphante block in Cornville, AZ. Cherries on steroids but with restraint and elegance. 3350 ft. elevation.

In early 2012, just outside of Cornville, AZ, we planted 30 acres on what we refer to as the Eliphante Block. Here we have mostly Italian clones, with a few Spanish and French as well.
