Tasting
Aromas of white flowers, vine blossom, and acacia on the nose. It then opens up to complex notes of citrus, barley sugar, ripe wheat, and almonds. Underlying this is the elegant, slightly mentholated fragrance characteristic of Waris Hubert wines. On the palate, its round, tender, and fruity attack gives way to an elegant freshness.

A beautiful family story…
The WARIS-HUBERT family is settled in Avize, a Grand Cry village on the Côte des Blancs. In this pretistigious appelation, Stéphanie and Olivie WARIS, fourth generation, produce champagne enhancing their precious terrois : Grand Cru Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Oger, Ay, the Premiers Crus Grauves and Bisseuil as well as Barbonne-Fayel, Marfaux, Merrey-sur-Arce, Monthelon, terroirs of character.

They reveal their finesse by the love of their winegrower profession. Oliver is a meticulous, perfectionist winegrower, at the heart of the action, member of the Vignerons Indépendants office. Stéphanie is just a go-getter. She continues with success and pleasure the agriculture inherited from her parents alongside the vine. In 1997, Stéphanie and Olivier got married and started to develop their own vineyard. The first vinification was made in 1998, followed by the first marketing in 2001. Three children were born from their union, continuing the state of mind of a large family in Avize: Antonin (1999), Cyprien (2003) and Blanche (2009). All 3 are present during the harvest and the vinification.

Concerned about the quality of their terroir and the environment, they work the soils of their Grand Cru vines on horseback. Their philosophy being low dosage champagnes in order to take advantage of the precious terroirs, minerality and floral aromas. A low dosage allowing you to find finesse and elegance throughout the range.
