Vermentinu from Vin de Corse-Calvi, Corsica, France; medium bodied and dry, minerally and salty with layers of peach, muscadine, pineapple, and wild flowers, with balanced acid and a neverending finish. Loves air. Org, Bio, Vegan, Sustainable Label was made by a local artist.

Grown on decomposed granite soils on the northwest coast of Corsica (Calvi) between the sea and the mountain peaks (2000 meters), this wine comes from vines that are between 7 and 25 years of age and planted to 3 different parcels (Canapile, Maiù, Finile), hand-harvested, left on its skins for 8 hours, fermented in stainless, then left to sit on its lees for 8 months. It is unfined and lightly filtered before being bottled.
