The Domaine Grand Crémant du Jura Dosage Zero is a beautifully intricate sparkling Chardonnay, crafted from a single parcel called Les Duboîtes, where 30-year-old vines thrive on Jura’s distinctive clay and limestone soils. A blend of typically three vintages, the base wine consists of 80% reserve cuvée (kept in stainless steel) and 20% from the current harvest, ensuring a depth of character and consistency. Fermentation takes place entirely in stainless steel, preserving freshness and precision. The blended wine then rests on lees for 2 to 2.5 years before disgorgement, allowing for exceptional complexity and texture. True to its name, this Crémant sees no dosage, highlighting its pure expression and mineral-driven structure. With an incredible mouthfeel, this wine is both layered and deeply expressive, showcasing bright citrus, green apple, almond, and delicate brioche notes. The finish is long, precise, and refreshingly crisp, making it a benchmark example of Jura’s ability to produce elegant, terroir-driven sparkling wines.

Inspired by Domaine Grand’s wines, (Parisian street artist) Bast created a bold, textured masterpiece for the Domaine - Joachim Werner artfully deconstructed it, weaving its essence into each label to match the energy & spirit behind every wine.

Nestled in the Jura, Domaine Grand is a story of family, passion, and an unwavering commitment to the land. The domaine officially took shape in 1970, when André Grand and his brothers expanded the family vineyards to 25 hectares, fully dedicating themselves to viticulture—building on the foundation laid by their father, René Grand. This set the stage for the next generation to carry the domaine forward. In 2011, Emmanuel Grand (André’s son) and Nathalie Morin took the reins, bringing a new vision to the estate. With deep roots in Jura wine—Emmanuel continuing his family’s legacy and Nathalie coming from a line of winemakers in Arbois—they sought to refine the domaine’s focus. By 2015, they had carefully selected the finest 11 hectares to farm organically, prioritizing sustainability, precision, and the purest expression of their terroir. Their vineyards stretch from Arbois to Château-Chalon, with the majority surrounding their home, featuring vines ranging from 25-50 years old to a remarkable century-old plot. Specializing in Chardonnay, Savagnin (both ouillé and oxidative), Trousseau, and Pinot Noir, Domaine Grand produces around 45,000 bottles annually. With Nathalie leading the work in the vineyards and Emmanuel in the cellar, they handle everything themselves—practicing organic farming, aging in old barrels, and using only minimal sulfites at pressing. Shaped by the Jura’s challenging climate, their wines are pure, expressive, and deeply compelling.
