Another winner from Flavia and her brother Giacomo. This is from 15+ year old vines planted near the Saline di Marsala on calcareous soils. The grapes are treated Organically, hand-harvested in small crates, then allowed to ferment with native yeast in stainless steel. After, the wine spends 30 days in neutral barrels, and doesn't undergo fining or filtering at bottling. The result is watermelon cranberry juice for adults, with lovely soft texture making you come back for more.
