Franco Conterno 'Pietrin' Barolo 2016 (750 ml)

100% Nebbiolo (Nebbiolo Michet and Nebbiolo Lampia). This is a blend of Barolo grapes from the Bussia, Pugnane and Panerole crus, in the Monforte d'Alba, Novello and Castiglione Falletto regions. 

Intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose sensations of ripe red pulp fruit such as cherry, plum, blackberry and raspberry jam, rose petals, potpourri and dried violet, balanced by spicy notes of black pepper, tobacco, leather, vanilla, nutmeg and licorice. On the palate it is deep, intense and enveloping, with tannins present but of rare elegance and a discreet final acidity that concludes the sip. Long and powerful finish, fine and elegant aftertaste. It may contain sulphites. Alcoholic content: 14.5%.
