About
Once only available in town, it is printed with Gonohe mascots "Gonohe no Onko-chan'' and "Baoru-kun and Mirai-chan.'' The brewery celebrates the Nanbu Toji guild and their signature style of low-temp, long fermentation and hand-brewing using all five senses. This features local water, local rice and even yeast #10, isolated at the brewery! Fun fact, the rice Hana Fubuki name means flower blizzard, like when the cherry blossoms fall in the wind and create a blizzard.
Serving
Try at any temp. Warm really brings out the rice flavors.
Brewery
Founded in 1786 during the reign of the 11th Shogun, Tokugawa Ienari, this brewery has a long history spanning nine generations in Aomori. Originally a kimono merchant, the first-generation Hachiuemon Hashimoto acquired a sake brewery and began brewing sake. Since then, the brewery has preserved its traditions while adapting to modern tastes.
