75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc

Brought into the cellar in early October destemmed and taken directly into tank and large format puncheons as whole berries. The must was allowed to cold soak over a period of 3 days allowing indigenous yeast an opportunity to set in and begin a cool, slow fermentation. Punch downs occurred daily and the wine was allowed an extra two weeks on the skins to develop a layered nuance and elevated concentration. The wine was left on the lees and then racked once to prepare for bottling after 20 months in 50% new Bordelaise French oak barrels.

When mountain fruit meets the best barrels, beauty is born. We exclusively use high elevation vineyard sources for this cuveê and then pair it with a light touch in the cellar to produce an age worthy wine that will without a doubt leave an impression on you. A custom curated barrel program allows us to hand pick each individual barrel from some of the best coopers in the world to match with the characteristics of each vintage and vineyard we work with. We don't hold back on this wine and with that let nature shine.

At No Love Lost we believe wine is a vehicle for the exploration of your senses. Intended to aid in discovering and connecting us to places, cultures and life moments. Our mission is to make wine approachable and attainable for anyone who is curious by creating an open and welcoming community. Our focus is not prestige but rather quality.  We value and honor tradition but are not afraid to embrace innovation by challenging convention. We don’t want to scale or disrupt but to inspire you to explore and discover.

A curious soul with creative inclinations, Jay Nunez, a first generation Cuban American from Orlando, Florida, found himself infatuated with the vinification process, sustainable agriculture, and the Napa Valley wine community. This infatuation turned into an obsession, leading him to leave the music industry and the East Coast behind to immerse himself in west coast wine culture. He first pursued formal Sommelier training and certifications spending his evenings bartending in the Valley. He took this knowledge and experience into the vineyard to create the style of wine he felt was missing from the Napa Valley.

Starting with a small corner in a friend's winery, his projects grew from one barrel to many, evolving from a passion project into a movement. These wine projects, along with exposure to the heart of the American wine industry, slowly revealed to him that less is more. These experiences molded his vision and led him into his current minimal interventionist perspective on winemaking. No Love's mission is to make wine approachable and attainable for anyone who is curious by creating an open and welcoming community. Their focus is not on prestige but rather on quality. They value and honor tradition but are not afraid to embrace innovation by challenging convention. Their goal is not to scale or disrupt but to inspire you to explore and discover yourself and wine one sip at a time.
