A heroic woman, like the viticulture of this unique landscape.
It is a wine in which Mencía is the protagonist, along with other indigenous red varieties of the Ribeira Sacra. This variety of grapes reflects the multifaceted personality of rural women, who with tenacity, shows an infinity of skills in their day-to-day lives. Like strains, which adapt to the most extreme climates for decades, so also women always know how to stand firm in the face of difficulties.
The tribute of this wine extends to all women and is an opportunity to enjoy a wine from a unique and exclusive plot in the Cañones del Sil.
The label inspired by the great dancer Marta Graham and Ovid's Metamorphoses, represents a woman in symbiosis with the terroir and the vineyard.
''Rural women represent more than a third of the world's population and 43 percent of the agricultural workforce. They till the land and plant the seeds that feed entire nations. In addition, they guarantee the food security of their populations and help prepare their communities for climate change. ''
